To Begin Where I Am

This is so very true. Every time I’ve made the choice not to pursue something I wanted because the time commitment felt daunting, months or years later I’ve looked back and thought, “If I had started working towards that when I first thought of it, I would be done by now, and so happy that I went for it.”

This is especially important for me to think about right now. At the moment, all of my future goals are big, and seem really overwhelming. But one year from now—if I spend my time well—they’re going to look a lot more manageable. I may have even accomplished some of them.
